Online Learning Challenges – Time Management

In many cases students find difficulty in managing their time with online learning even though online learning is flexible as far as time management is concerned. As this methodology of learning is completely new to the students and it requires extra effort from them, the teachers also were required to put in overtime and provide them with a schedule that will help the students to manage time in an effective manner.

Time management is the most important factor in online learning. The teachers has overcome the challenge by advising the below points to be followed by all the students for better results.

Avoid Distractions – The students must try and avoid distractions that can affect their learning and be focused on learning as scheduled to avoid missing live classes or sessions.

Seeking Help – To manage time during online learning seek help from their parents, friends. So that they will not miss out on learning.

Avoid Multitasking – The students must not try to take up multiple tasks at the same time. Instead they should try and complete the taskon hand and then move to the next. This way their work will be made easier and students can be more productive and effective.

These steps have helped the teachers to make a positive impact in the online session.

Case study: 03 (Overall effect)
Impact on students by the use of projectors

Education is a vital part of the development of our children and the foundation of their future. Traditional learning system using boards and books have eroded children’s interest in learning.

With the implementation of audio-visual aids and interactive teaching, teachers have noticed the use of tools like projectors in teaching has actually rekindled the interest of children in education and learning.

One of the advantages of audio-visual aids lies in the fact that they actually make learning more ‘in reach’ in the sense that while the teachers might not be able to take their students on a field trip to see a park, they can at least show them pictures of it and engage them visually bringing the park into the classroom.

The teachers can show a slide featuring flowers, trees, butterfly, plants, playing area and playing equipment and explain them all in detail. It is especially helpful because the students will be able to retain concepts learnt visually more than in traditional learning styles.

In future, Raza’s Excellent English School is hoping to enhance education methods with advanced technology.
