Tech Mahindra Foundation
Tech Mahindra Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company, it has been working tirelessly in the areas of education, employability and disability.
The SMART programme began in 2012 with 3 centers and trained 1,000 youth in the first year. Today, the Foundation supports 80 SMART Centers across 12 cities of India, training more than 17,000 youth annually and successfully plugging the demand and supply gap in multiple manufacturing and service industries. 50% of the beneficiaries are women and 10% are young people with disability.
EdelGive Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Edelweiss Group a leading Indian financial services firm with an asset base of USD 8.5 billion. It is committed to effecting large scale impact and aims to achieve 10x impact, by providing its partner NGOs with a customized bouquet of services, which includes direct funding, capacity building, and linkages to other funding sources.
Over the last decade, EdelGive has committed and influenced close to $22 million into social development, partnered with more than 150 Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), impacted more than 5,00,000 lives, and provided pro bono support of over 29,000 hours of skilled volunteering.
EdelGive financially supports NGOs and develops their capacity to achieve sustainability, and partners with Governments to bring about systemic change. EdelGive works very closely with the funding community and has developed a strong co-funding platform that provides due diligence and monitoring support to investing partners which enables other corporates and foundations to join EdelGive in supporting its partner NGOs.
